from the ghetto with timberlands and XXXXXXXXXXL clothes to be a
rapper nowadays. Isn't it a good thing how the art has expanded?
The style has just moved away, because now rap is popular, which means
its trendy now like it was when everyone was bumpin to Run DMC in the
80's and Snoop Dogg in the 90's, and trends change
Besides can we say the ghetto isn't half what it used to be in the
early 90s?
@Rosemary:
So? So is singing. Rap is just like singing, its a vocal form of art.
Its reciting poetry in rhythm in time to a beat. Any song could use
rapping. Ragga is a form of rap. It isn't only hip-hop.
It'd be pretty boring if people only listened to 80 style rap and
didn't explore. Run DMC and Snoop Dogg can be called the pop garbage
of their day.
